You may have found some of the selections a bit unusual compared to those found on a more traditional Gift Basket site but our business name says it all - Cause I Care.

Hi, I'm Cindy Ellis, the owner and creator of the product line that contains the useful items for people with physical difficulties. While working in a Home Medical Equipment Store I discovered that many people were unaware of the ADL (activity of daily living aids), adaptive devices, or physical therapy items on the market that would have enhanced their every day living. Another thing that I discovered is that many medical insurances deny these types of items stating that they are "a luxury item".
I too, have had family members and friends who've became ill, elderly, or both.  I have been able to suggest useful items, and when need be, purchased these items to give as gifts. These practical and useful gifts helped to make some of their more difficult tasks easier to accomplish, allowing them to maintain a level of independence. With a background in Physical Therapy and roots in New England the concept of a product line that was both useful and unique was bound to happen. I had found my combination of items to have been well received and thus "Cause I Care" was started.

We have received National recognition from the Muscular Dystrophy Association's magazine Quest in the Nov/Dec 2003 issue along with several other companies and we are very proud.

Our product line continues to grow. More traditional offerings are now available but one thing will not change - the offerings found at Cause I Care will be assembled using good old fashioned Yankee ingenuity and Vermont quality! We pride ourselves on a job well done. Customer service and satisfaction are very important to us!
